A birthday weekend away, a rented house by the sea, and a welcome that begins with a printed set of conditions. Riley Reid plays the host who wrote them. While Chloe is upstairs getting ready for the birthday dinner, the rules stop applying to the person who set them. Five episodes of roughly two minutes, no tag on the catalog card. The premise
House rules are the joke and the structure at once. They establish her authority in the opening minutes, they give the run a checklist to work through, and the comedy of the thing is that she is the one breaking them.
The timing is tight by design. Chloe is getting ready rather than out of the building, so the window is however long a birthday dinner takes to dress for, and the story keeps measuring itself against that.
